I plan to give birth at Sharp Mary birch hospital. $1-3k is my estimated budget. Unfortunately, my Cigna insurance does not cover doula services but I’m interested in your out of pocket fees within my budget. For my birth plan, Epidural if needed but would like to do natural since I had back pain after my first baby 2023 using it.
Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal Employee Program - Basic Plan
I had my second baby boy in December 2025 and returned to work at the end of April. Prior to returning to work I was exclusively breastfeeding and I had an oversupply. Shortly after my return to work my eldest son was hospitalized for two weeks and my supply dropped. I am now back and have noticed my supply is slowly continuing to decrease from 30+ ounces to barely 16 oz. I am looking for support with increasing output on workdays and overall milk supply on my off days too, to ensure i can continue to breastfeed until my son is at least one. About my work schedule: I’m a crisis therapist and I work 3 x 12 hr shifts a week and then I’m home for four days and I nurse when home.
My name is Suparna. I am currently 20 weeks pregnant, and my estimated due date is November 5, 2026. My husband works at Qualcomm, and we are covered under the UHC Qualcomm insurance plan. I am planning to deliver at Scripps Mercy Hospital. I would like to inquire about your doula services and whether you are available around my due date. I would also appreciate any information you can share about your services, packages, and how you typically support families during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. If you are not available for my due date, would you be able to refer me to another doula from your team or professional network?
Lactation consult to Come to me, takes united health care insurance
I’d like a few visits prior to birth for planning and prep work, a doula to come with me to the hospital on the day of birth, and then 2 visits post partum for breastfeeding education. Ideally under $2k
hi ◡̈ I hope you are doing well! I am a new mom with a baby girl, Maple Mae, and wanted to ask about an at home session. I’ve filled out the form but I know my insurance does not cover Lactation Support. We were wondering if you only work through insurance or have an out of pocket services. We have been dealing with a very refluxy baby, a heavy letdown, and oversupplying milk. With also the goal to add some bottle feeding sessions through the day and night. I would love the opportunity to connect more on all of this🤍
Hospital birth center Budget depending on services Looking to have a natural birth but realistic about possible interventions Certified Looking for someone with lactation knowledge and natural birth prep knowledge (pelvic floor prep/positions) Looking for an advocate and someone to explain what is happening during labor, etc
Plan on giving birth at the hospital, I have blue shield promise which will cover doula coats hopefully as I cannot afford. Hopefully I can find a doula who is open minded, helpful, and willing to pass on knowledge as this is my first child.
I need help with my 6 month old baby taking the bottle.
I will be giving birth at the Naval hospital in Camp Pendleton. Hoping to find someone who is covered under my insurance-Tricare prime. I am trying for an unmedicated birth, but am open to intervention if things aren’t proceeding as planned. Still in need of education for myself and partner for birth prep. I am a NICU nurse, but husband wants to be involved. I am used to the baby side of things, but not laboring!! Also would love lactation advice after.
1. I plan to give birth in a birth center 2. I plan to use insurance (Tricare) 3. I don’t have one yet but want to make sure I find and reserve a good doula for birth. I want to go as natural as possible. Looking for pre and post natal support, birth and possibly lactation.
