Giving birth at Henry Mayo in Valencia, CA. Labor doulas must have a current certification from an approved certifying body. Doula will ideally be familiar with Tricare and in network. First child, I’m 36 years old, married. No specific birth plan yet. Please specifically state if you have experience with patients with Tricare Prime. Lactation consultant is optional at this time, but if the doula can provide both services that’s a bonus.

Hello! I just learned of these benefits so I know I’m looking for a doula late. This will be my second birth, my first was a Csection. My OB says I’m a great candidate for a tolac. I want a vbac, possibly unmedicated. I need help with how to get birth ready. Also, someone who can advocate for me. I live in Canyon Country, but will be giving birth at Kaiser Woodland Hills.

We plan to give birth at Henry mayo hospital. I don't want to be constantly bothered while in labor though and am not sure if hospital is the best way for me to go. I have thought about birthing centers but just don't know what I should do. I want to have a natural birth but don't want to not have the option of an epidural if I have too much pain/ huge baby. I also want to be able to voice that I want to space the vaccines out once baby is born and have the ability to move around or change positions for a more comfortable birth. I have been trying to prepare myself for birth now as well as doing pelvic opening and strengthen workouts but want to make sure I'm doing enough to help With birth and my recovery after birth. I just want my husband in the room. This is our first baby so we are learning a lot. We wouldn't want to go over $1000 for our budget since we are a one income household.

I can not lie on my back and transitional movements are extremely painful. I want to gain better understanding of birthing positions that will be right for me.
