I am pregnant with my third baby. I had 2 C-sections and I desperately don’t want to have the same experience again. I need coaching to have a natural and possibly an at home birth. This is the most important thing to me. And for me to have a good postpartum experience.

I want to give birth in hospital. My insurance plan covers the daula. I want help before birth and postpartum.

I have Kaiser insurance and plan to deliver at Kaiser Panorama City. This is my first baby, so I am looking for a wise, holistic and spiritual doula who is very experienced and compassionate, as I can be an anxious person at times. I prefer only in-person visits and would also love support with childbirth and newborn care education. In addition, I am interested in a doula who either partakes in or can recommend a birthing way blessing ceremony. It is important to me that my doula accepts Kaiser and is preferably local. Looking for a doula , it’s my first time giving birth

Im going to be admitted and induced starting Aug 16, Saturday at Kaiser Woodland Hills. Im currently at 36 weeks and the reason why i needed to be induced earlier os because i have pre ecclampsia.

Im helping my daughter set up contact with a doula. She was very upset when the dr at 34 wks said " we might as well set up the induction now" the baby is long and they said the baby already weighs 5 lbs. My daughter feels shes being primed for an unnecessary induction and c- section, with out and concrete reason. She also is can get depressed and has periodically needed to medicate so we have to watch for PPD. My daughter is Vegan. She is a school teacher of sixth graders ans will probably stop work around the 37th week. She plans a hospital birth at Northridge hospital. Doesnt want a c section, if not truely medically needed. She plans to have hisband and mom there and mom for a few days postpartum. She will breatfeed which is really important since she is Vegan. If there are any dulas available she can talk to them after school.

I would like to give birth at home or at a birthing center. I’m not sure how much money it is. I would like my birth to be as natural as possible.

I would like to find a doula that could help me with my hospital labor. I am hoping to have a vbac and have a better overall experience than my first birth. If possible, I would like to try for an all natural birth but I’m not opposed to pain interventions. My Kaiser health plan covers doula services.
