I’m planning to have a natural birth if everything remains low risk. My first choice would be a home birth, but if that isn’t appropriate, I’m also open to delivering at a birthing center or, if necessary, at a hospital. I’m looking for a midwife and would also like to learn more about working with a birth doula, since I’ve never had either before. I’m 39 years old, and this is my second pregnancy. Giving birth at Henry Mayo in Valencia, CA. Labor doulas must have a current certification from an approved certifying body. Doula will ideally be familiar with Tricare and in network. First child, I’m 36 years old, married. No specific birth plan yet. Please specifically state if you have experience with patients with Tricare Prime.
