I plan to give birth at home but would like the option to be able to give birth in a birth center if needed. estimated budget would be 10k. I would like if providers were in network for tricare as I am an active duty service member and use Tricare Prime for insurance.

I am planning to give birth in a hospital and am looking for a certified doula who accepts or is familiar with TRICARE Prime coverage. I'm not sure what to expect regarding the cost, so I am hoping to find someone whose services are covered by TRICARE or eligible for reimbursement. I am due on November 20, 2026. My birth plan is to try a low-dose epidural at first, with the option to increase it if needed. My goal is to have the best pain relief possible while maintaining safety for me and my baby. I prefer to avoid Pitocin unless it is medically necessary. I would also like to avoid giving birth flat on my back if possible and would prefer to labor and deliver in side-lying or other upright, supported positions as appropriate. During labor, I would like to use comfort measures such as a birth ball, peanut ball, and squat bar, and I prefer intermittent fetal monitoring if it is safe for me and my baby. After birth, I would like delayed cord clamping, to leave the vernix on my baby rather than wiping it off immediately, and to have uninterrupted skin-to-skin contact with either me or the baby's father for about the first hour before routine newborn assessments, provided my baby is healthy and does not require urgent medical care. I would prefer to delay the hospital bath and decline routine eye ointment unless it is medically necessary or required. I understand that my birth preferences may need to change if there is a medical concern for me or my baby. I am looking for a certified doula with at least 10 years of experience supporting hospital births. I am 28 years old, this is my first pregnancy, and I plan to breastfeed if possible but am open to supplementing with formula if medically necessary. I would also appreciate postpartum support, including newborn education, breastfeeding guidance, and sleep training support after my baby is born. Most importantly, I am looking for a doula who complements my husband's role rather than replaces it. As first-time parents, we want someone who can help create a calm, low-stress environment, guide my husband on ways to comfort and support me during labor, and empower us to work together as a team throughout the birth experience.

I plan to give birth at Hoag Hospital Newport Beach. I have United Healthcare insurance and would like to have the lowest budget possible. I want an epidural due to not good with pain. I want a vaginal birth only. I would like my doula to be experienced at least 5 years. I would like my doula to help me with sleep training, lactation, nutrition, etc.

Plan on giving birth at the hospital, I have blue shield promise which will cover doula coats hopefully as I cannot afford. Hopefully I can find a doula who is open minded, helpful, and willing to pass on knowledge as this is my first child.

Need a tongue tie assessment to see if he has one. And weighing before and after eating to see how much breast milk he is actually consuming.

I need to see a lactation consultant. Every time I try to feed my baby it hurts. She is clamping down and it’s for the full feed. I can’t get her to open her mouth all the way for me to get get all the way in. I am at a point that my nipples hurt so bad that I don’t want to breast-feed anymore. I am an experienced second-time mother currently breastfeeding my 5-month-old who is experiencing severe, sudden-onset sharp pain and body shaking upon latching. To resolve this, I am seeking an in-person evaluation from an in-network International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) covered by my Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance to identify the underlying cause and provide hands-on relief.

Hi! I’m a 21-year-old married mom of a 2-year-old, currently pregnant with my second baby and going through a separation from my husband. I’m a Christian, and I’m really looking for a doula who can support me physically, emotionally, and spiritually throughout this pregnancy and birth. I’m hoping to have an unmedicated, natural birth and would love to learn breathing techniques, labor positions, and different coping strategies to help me prepare. I’m honestly scared, and one of my biggest goals is to have a positive birth experience and to avoid tearing entirely if possible. I want to learn everything I can to prepare my body and reduce my risk of tearing. I also want to learn more about nutrition during pregnancy, including organic foods and understanding healthy versus less-healthy carbohydrates. I plan to breastfeed again and would love support with preparing for that as well. I also have questions about healthy weight management during pregnancy and postpartum and would love guidance on how to safely care for my body while making sure my baby is properly nourished. My husband and I are separated, but I would like him to be able to learn how to support me during pregnancy and birth if he is willing. I would appreciate a doula who can help educate both of us on what genuine, respectful support can look like during labor and delivery. As a Black mother and woman, I’m also very aware of the disparities and racism Black women can face within the healthcare system. Having someone who can advocate for me, help me understand my options, and make sure my voice is heard and respected during such a vulnerable experience is extremely important to me. I really want to feel safe, informed, empowered, and supported throughout this journey.

I am ep and I keep getting mastits. I would like help with flange size and helping baby latch because pumping is exhausting

Our baby is currently 3 weeks old and EBF. I’ve been doing weekly virtual appointments with a lactation consultant but still experiencing pain when breastfeeding (both during and after). I’d love a second pair of eyes to look at his latch and also help with double checking flange size for pumping.
