Duties would focus on feeding support, diapering, and soothing. Grandparents will help with meal preparation and laundry. We’re thinking approximately 10-hour overnight shifts and would initially like support for 4–8 weeks, with the option to extend if it’s a good fit. We’d love someone very experienced with newborns who can handle overnight diaper changes, soothing, settling baby back to sleep, bottle feeding as needed, and cleaning/sterilizing bottles and pump parts used overnight. I plan to breastfeed/pump but am comfortable supplementing with formula as needed, so experience supporting a combination of breastfeeding, pumped milk and formula would be great. We also have a 3-year-old, so reliability is especially important. Ideally looking for someone CPR/First Aid certified with excellent references and newborn experience. We're located on the Westside of Los Angeles.

Overall, we are looking for someone who is caring, trustworthy, patient, responsible, respectful of our parenting decisions, and able to provide reassurance and support as we learn how to navigate being first-time parents.
