This is my first pregnancy and I have no idea what my options are. I want to do a home birth and will need a doula
I am looking for a midwife and a doula who accept MediCal insurance and can support me throughout my first pregnancy and birth. My goal is to have a low-intervention, unmedicated labor, with guidance and support every step of the way. I haven’t decided if I will have a home birth and I would like to labor at home for as long as possible if a hospital birth becomes necessary or is the best option. I want a care team that will support my birth preferences and help me achieve the most natural, intervention-free experience possible.
We are looking for a Midwife (CNM or CPM) near Hollister, California, that is certified to do Home Births. Our budget is flexible. Ideally, we are seeking a Christian provider, though that is not a requirement. We are hoping to have as natural a birth as possible with minimal interventions and testing throughout pregnancy. Do not cut the umbilical cord until 5-45 mins later or until it’s white in color. Do not SCRAPE my placenta out, let me deliver naturally unless for emergencies or let me breast feed to help deliver it. No forceps used unless completely necessary for the life of the baby Keep vernix on baby no bath No vitamin k No eye ointment No vaccines do not bring baby out of room without dad ever
