I plan to give birth at home, preferably in a water bath. I would like to be unmedicated and offered holistic ways to manage pain through labor and birth. Our estimated budget is $3000. I don’t have much of a birth plan except that I would like to have a vaginal, unmedicated birth with little to no medical intervention, unless absolutely necessary.

I plan to give birth at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Tight budget, hoping to be able to make payments. I am trying for a VBAC against OB recommendations, would like someone to help me advocate for myself.

This is my first pregnancy and I hope to do an unmedicated birth in Redlands hospital. I don’t trust most doctors and want someone who will be able to honestly tell me what is best for me and baby. I want to avoid a c-section and all unnecessary medications as much as possible. We have United Healthcare Plus and don’t know how much our insurance would cover the use of a midwife or doula but we can only pay a couple thousand out of pocket. My husband and I are SO excited to be parents and want to find a midwife who is friendly and easy to get along with but is professional at the same time. I only want my husband present at the birth along with any necessary nurses and medical professionals - no other family members will be present. I also want someone who will be able to educate me because after doing a lot of online research and sorting through everyone’s opinions I don’t know what to think and need a midwife who is knowledgeable and able to walk me through all the processes. I’ve had a few friends have bad experienced with obgyns and don’t even know where to begin finding one, hence why I want to try the midwife route.

Laughing gas is okay. Only husband and doula present during the actual birth, limited guests after birth. If at a birthing center, would like to do a water birth. If at a hospital, will like to have the ability to move around and shift if needed instead of laying on the bed.

Hello I am a 27 year old woman. No health conditions. I had a child August 19 2016 and ended up having to have a cesarean it was the works experience of my life. Now 9 years later I am pregnant with my second child and fear getting a doctor that will force me into another one without giving me a chance to try. I'm very adamant about having a vbac this time around I pray everyday for the opportunity to have one. And I an so uneducated on the subject. Stuck between trying to get refferals to different hospital not sure who to turn to and time feels like it's running out. I am 19 weeks and 5 days I need help. I would like to labor naturally for as long as possible, I am also open to pain management like nitrous and epidural. I want my husband as hands on as possible.
