1st time mom, due May 29th @ Hospital birth at Englewood Hospital in NJ. I live in Jersey City. My Ob has rotating practice so the personal 1:! care that I prefer hasn't been there and some medical notes have been missed. I'd like to have a familiar, trusted face who can assist during birth and be my advocate when I am in the throws of labor + post labor. I don't have a birth plan as of now but do have preferences that I would like to consult a doula with and ensure they are carried out at the hospital.

I plan to give birth in North Jersey. Either Jersey City or Hoboken. I'm not sure what my budget is yet. I am looking for someone to discuss a birth plan with as this is my first child. I think I still want to give birth in a hospital, but would love to hear the support I could get from a doula.

I plan to give birth in a hospital (New York Presbyterian - Upper East Side). I would love to have someone walk me through my delivery options and have a better understanding of all the possibilities. My budget is limited as we are currently trying to get out of a little credit card debt and expendable income is minimal to none - I would say could probably swing $500 - $1000. For our birth plan, we want to have a natural birth with epidural, if possible.

Hello! This is my third child and I’m having a home birth. The home birth is eating up our entire budget, which is why I’m so late to the doula game. Though my husband is amazing, I’m wondering if I might need an extra set of hands when he’s called away to feed kids, change a diaper, etc. our estimated budget is $1,000 at the absolute most. Less is better. I’m happy to have a student or new doula who needs more hours towards certifications, etc. It’s important to me that I don’t feel pressured to chat or entertain while laboring. Someone who has a calm and confident disposition who can keep me focused and make me feel safe when things get really hard. If that’s you, great!

Hi I am looking for a doula to help me this time around.....I had a baby back in June 2024 she is now 11 months and I am currently pregnant and preparing for my last baby....im looking for support. Long story short a friend of mine recommended I get a doula to help me this time around....I currently have state insurance through new jersey....I am being told by several people that doulas are usually fully covered through the insurance.
