1st time mom, due May 29th @ Hospital birth at Englewood Hospital in NJ. I live in Jersey City. My Ob has rotating practice so the personal 1:! care that I prefer hasn't been there and some medical notes have been missed. I'd like to have a familiar, trusted face who can assist during birth and be my advocate when I am in the throws of labor + post labor. I plan to give birth in a hospital (New York Presbyterian - Upper East Side). I would love to have someone walk me through my delivery options and have a better understanding of all the possibilities. My budget is limited as we are currently trying to get out of a little credit card debt and expendable income is minimal to none - I would say could probably swing $500 - $1000. For our birth plan, we want to have a natural birth with epidural, if possible.

I don't have a detailed birth plan yet but so far, I know that I would like to have a vaginal birth with epidural, and I'd like to try to deliver in a standing position.
