I have Anthem Blue Cross Medi-Cal and would prefer a midwife who accepts my insurance or offers flexible payment plans or superbills for reimbursement. I am early in pregnancy and looking for full prenatal, birth, and postpartum care. I am hoping for a low-intervention, natural birth experience at home with a supportive and experienced midwife who is comfortable with hands-off care when appropriate but also prioritizes safety for me and my baby. My budget is limited, so I am open to discussing payment options and ways to combine insurance-covered services with out-of-pocket care. I am also open to guidance on how to navigate insurance for coverage.

I am having my first baby and I’m hoping to do an unmedicated water birth with little intervention as possible. I’m hoping to get support for myself during this pregnancy and for my birth where I feel my OB isn’t fully able to assist. I currently plan on birthing at Mercy Folsom Hospital in Folsom CA in their birthing center. I’m not sure on budget as I am unsure what the range or scope looks like or where to even begin. I am really excited for this time and truly feel a midwife will add so much to this experience.

Looking for midwife services for a homebirth. This is my third baby. First one was in a hospital with an epidural. Second baby was at a birthing center all natural in a bathtub.
