I am a soon to be first-time mom and this is my first pregnancy. I plan to give birth at Stanford Children’s Hospital and am curious about unmedicated births.
We are expecting a baby girl in mid-april. Tentatively April 15th timeframe. We will be giving birth at sequoia hospital. We are first time parents are looking for an evidence-based champion in our corner during the birthing session.
1. I haven’t gotten a referral yet but I think I’ll go with El Camino in Mountain View 2. I’m looking for a doula that accepts tricare. I’m also open to paying out of pocket but tricare would be my first pick. 3. This is my second child and the labor with my first was under 4 hours. Birth plan this time would be to labor without an epidural. All other parts of my birth plan I’m open to suggestions. I’d like to labor at home if possible.
