I’ll give birth at hospital Kaiser Vacaville. Our budget is variable depending on set price. I know I’ll have my 3 rd section and I have two boys now a 7 year old and a 3 year old. I don’t have much family or friends to support me postpartum and my goal is to exclusively breastfeed for at least 6-12 months. I need guidance and help first few weeks just Until I can get a good latch down.

We are gradparents to baby Olivia, 3 weeks old, and her 6 year old brother . Court ordered us legal guardianship while her parents go through CPS investigation into an accident resulting in a minor brain injury for baby Olivia. We plan to deliver at the hospital in Oakland. We are pretty close to the due date, and are hoping to receive birth and postpartum support, with no more than 11 visits. Our birth plan is for vaginal birth, with the use of an epidural. We will defer to our medical team for advice if circumstances make that plan risky or untenable. We do not have a fixed budget as the birthing parent’s insurance covers doula services. The policy (Kaiser) does not explicitly specify price limits but states that it should be within “reasonable market rates”. The policy is also limited to certain primary services and we would like to keep within that range. We are looking for someone that is well versed in taking care of Infants. Our baby is still a little tricky with the bottle so we need help acclimating him to the bottle. Aside from feedings, we like to keep set wake windows for him and will need you to put him to sleep. He sleeps in his bassinet but we will soon transition to crib. The main reason he wakes up are due to burps so we need the caregiver to be attentive and ready to burp and reset him . We also have a toddler that is 2. 5 , there may be times we need help with spending time with her. She is extremely cute and sweet. When the baby is asleep we would need help with making sure the house is clean and if you are good with some light meal prep would be a plus but not required. We require you have your own transportation, and be comfortable with our cute cat.
