Birth plan, birth care, post care and lactation care hospital Hoag Newport
We are looking for a lactation consultant to help my wife and questions we have with breastfeeding and the baby regarding gas, fussiness, soothing, etc. We are willing to pay anywhere from $50 to $100+ per visit. We need an english speaking board certified lactation consultant.
I plan to give birth at Hoag Hospital Newport Beach. I have United Healthcare insurance and would like to have the lowest budget possible. I want an epidural due to not good with pain. I want a vaginal birth only. I would like my doula to be experienced at least 5 years. I would like my doula to help me with sleep training, lactation, nutrition, etc.
Hello, my name is Courtney Flores. My son is 4 months old. I am reaching out because at birth he was in the 44th percentile for weight and at his 2 month well visit he was 36th. At his 4 month well visit he dropped down to the 5th percentile for his weight and I’m concerned he is not getting enough milk. I exclusively breast-feed so I’m not sure how much he is getting. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.
Scheduled to have the baby at the Newport Beach Hoag. Trying to find out how much a doula costs with my insurance for some extra support because id like to go unmedicated if I can. My insurance is blue shield CA and the Gold 80Trio hmo plan
I just need someone who I feel can educate me on what I don’t know and someone who is interested in helping me advocate for myself. I keep feeling like the medical industry isn’t interested in helping me and I just want someone who cares about helping and wants to be there
First baby - hoping for low interventions and unmedicated. Not sure if I am ready to commit to unmedicated though. Either way, I'd like to stay unmedicated as long as possible/as long as is safe. I know very little about labor/birth and have been afraid of it for a while. I'd like someone who is well versed in physical support, and of course mental/emotional support and birth education. I have somewhat of a distrust of doctors and want someone who knows the data on when things are necessary, and when things are not necessary. My husband is pretty squeamish and he may need some mental support too. I am a patient of the midwives at Orange Coast Womens Medical Group and I plan to give birth at HOAG Irvine. I am looking for a birth doula, a lactation consultant, and possibly a postpartum doula. I live in Fullerton, CA - looking for in person services.
Lactation consult. Latching issues. Nipple pain. Feel like something is wrong.
I am looking for a birth and postpartum doula that is covered by Kaiser insurance, who is very knowledgeable about the birth process, potential complications and newborn care, who is open to attending hospitals births. I am planning to give birth at Kaiser South Bay Harbor City. I would like to labor at home with my partner and the doula for as long as possible until it’s time to go to the hospital. I am open to an epidural at the hospital but if I’m doing okay or labor is progressing quickly I am open to not getting one. I hope for an uncomplicated vaginal birth. I’d like the doula to know the difference between interventions that might be offered to me at the hospital that are not necessary and what is necessary/ will help my baby to be born healthy. I’d like a certified doula with multiple years experience, age 38+ or older. I am 38 years old, first pregnancy, have a very supportive partner, and hope to breastfeed.
Need assistance with proper flange sizing, my milk supply has always been low looking to increase it. Pumping has always been a challenge
Painful feeds low milk supply. I would like and in person consultant.
Hi, we're interested on getting breastfeed and safe storage breast milk consulting just to be ready when baby comes. -Tricare select - On person - We would like to know extra costs to be prepare. - the start date would be on 27 of september
I would love some birthing support! Hoag Irvine birth center or Providence Mission Viejo is where I will give birth. This is my second baby, and the first time I got the epidural but it didn’t work. I would love to learn new positions and other pain relief during birth and not use the epidural. My husband is deployed now, and might not be there for the birth.
lactation consultant who is patient and BIPOC and local to my area
15 month old, no difficulties with latch since he was about 1 month old. Recently areola is cracking and fissures are starting. I have put lanolin but it is not improving. Not sure if his latch is worsening the cuts. It hurts a lot to continue nursing (only on left side).
I just delivered my second child, and while I successfully breastfed my first child for 18 months I am having difficulties getting the second to latch. She is nearly constantly fussy when trying to breastfeed and does not stay latched for any significant period of time. I have inverted nipples and used a nipple shield with my first, although I have tried both with and without for my second.
Baby with possible lip tie, shallow latch, clicking and constant clogs
Torrance Memorial Hospital. TriCare West Prime insurance coverage. Epidural medication support. CDL certification.
