First baby, going through [personal details hidden]. Husband is back to work and been doing it alone since week 2. I need emotional and physical support
I just need someone who I feel can educate me on what I don’t know and someone who is interested in helping me advocate for myself. I keep feeling like the medical industry isn’t interested in helping me and I just want someone who cares about helping and wants to be there
First baby - hoping for low interventions and unmedicated. Not sure if I am ready to commit to unmedicated though. Either way, I'd like to stay unmedicated as long as possible/as long as is safe. I know very little about labor/birth and have been afraid of it for a while. I'd like someone who is well versed in physical support, and of course mental/emotional support and birth education. I have somewhat of a distrust of doctors and want someone who knows the data on when things are necessary, and when things are not necessary. My husband is pretty squeamish and he may need some mental support too. I am a patient of the midwives at Orange Coast Womens Medical Group and I plan to give birth at HOAG Irvine. I am looking for a birth doula, a lactation consultant, and possibly a postpartum doula. I live in Fullerton, CA - looking for in person services.
Hi, this is my second pregnancy. However, I had a twin vaginal birth in 2014, so it’s been so long that it feels like my first! This time around, I’m aiming for as unmedicated as possible and I’m looking for a support person during birth, as well as postpartum for assistance with lactation and sleep. My husband is a firefighter so he won’t be around much postpartum, so I would like as much support as possible this time. I’d like to stay around 1500 to 2000 if that’s possible and I’d like to see if it’s covered some by insurance. We have CIGNAPPO.
1 week old still [personal details hidden]. [personal details hidden] Shallow Latch on one side. Unsure if completely emptying my breasts. Have larger breasts
I need help with pumping and finding my flange size I feel like with every flange size I try I have to pull back on my breast while pumping so the milk can come out
Hi there, I’m looking for support with bottle feeding my [personal details hidden] daughter. She’s 2 months old adjusted and [personal details hidden]. She’s having difficulties with latching onto the bottle and gags herself and spits up as a result. I have Cigna PPO insurance I’ll be using. Thank you!
Painful latch , issues breastfeeding, sore nipples
I would love some birthing support! Hoag Irvine birth center or Providence Mission Viejo is where I will give birth. This is my second baby, and [personal details hidden] I would love to learn new positions and other pain relief during birth and not use the epidural. My husband is deployed now, and might not be there for the birth.
Want an evaluation of baby’s latch and milk transfer. 2 week old Full term, gaining weight well, appears satisfied after meals but at times has noisy suck and painful latch on one breast only

Hi! I’m a [personal details hidden] married mom of a 2-year-old, currently pregnant with my second baby and [personal details hidden]. I’m a Christian, and I’m really looking for a doula who can support me physically, emotionally, and spiritually throughout this pregnancy and birth. I’m hoping to have an unmedicated, natural birth and would love to learn breathing techniques, labor positions, and different coping strategies to help me prepare. I’m honestly scared, and one of my biggest goals is to have a positive birth experience and to avoid tearing entirely if possible. I want to learn everything I can to prepare my body and reduce my risk of tearing. I also want to learn more about nutrition during pregnancy, including organic foods and understanding healthy versus less-healthy carbohydrates. I plan to breastfeed again and would love support with preparing for that as well. I also have questions about healthy weight management during pregnancy and postpartum and would love guidance on how to safely care for my body while making sure my baby is properly nourished. [personal details hidden], but I would like him to be able to learn how to support me during pregnancy and birth if he is willing. I would appreciate a doula who can help educate both of us on what genuine, respectful support can look like during labor and delivery. As a Black mother and woman, I’m also very aware of the disparities and racism Black women can face within the healthcare system. Having someone who can advocate for me, help me understand my options, and make sure my voice is heard and respected during such a vulnerable experience is extremely important to me. I really want to feel safe, informed, empowered, and supported throughout this journey.
expecting and want to find lactation support ahead of my birth
First-time mom planning a hospital birth at Pomona Valley Hospital and looking for a birth/postpartum doula with a practical, evidence-based approach. I would like support during pregnancy with education, preparing for labor, helping me understand my options, and creating a birth plan/preferences document. During labor, I’m looking for someone calm and supportive who can help me advocate for myself, ask questions, and help me process decisions without pressure unless medically necessary. Postpartum support is my biggest priority. I would like help with recovery, breastfeeding/pumping support, newborn guidance, emotional reassurance, and preparing to return to work as an [personal details hidden]. I am hoping to breastfeed/pump and would value someone knowledgeable about lactation and pumping for working moms. I am open to holistic approaches as long as they are grounded in research and evidence-based care. I am not looking for an anti-medical approach and am comfortable with hospital care and interventions when medically necessary. I would prefer someone experienced with first-time moms and familiar with Pomona Valley Hospital or the surrounding area (La Verne/Claremont/Upland/Pomona).
Hi! I recently welcomed my first baby and am looking for postpartum support, specifically someone who can help with breastfeeding/lactation and overnight newborn care. As a first time mom, I’m still learning breastfeeding and pumping and would really appreciate guidance with things like latch, positioning, milk supply, pumping, engorgement, and making sure my baby is feeding well. I’m hoping to find someone who is patient, reassuring, and experienced with supporting moms in the early postpartum period. I’m also interested in nighttime help so my partner and I can get some rest. Since [personal details hidden], it’s especially important to me to find someone who is experienced with newborns and early term/preterm babies. I’d love to hear about your experience, availability, what your overnight services include, whether you provide lactation support or are an IBCLC, and your rates/minimum number of hours. I’m looking for someone compassionate, knowledgeable, and calming who can help us feel more confident as we adjust to life with our new baby. ❤️
Hi, I’m looking for a lactation consultant that dealt with women that had issues breastfeeding before. I have a 3 year old toddler now and am due with baby boy this November. I have United healthcare insurance. I’m not sure if this is covered, but figure I’d start the process. I’m delivering in Pomona Valley hospital and maybe they also have lactation consultants too. I’m not sure, but would love for someone to come to my home and check all the different pumps and flanges I have and perhaps measure me. I want to make sure I’m doing it right this second time around since first time, [personal details hidden] so I was supplementing with formula until I stopped breastfeeding after 4 months.
