Looking for midwife services for a homebirth. This is my third baby. First one was in a hospital with an epidural. Second baby was at a birthing center all natural in a bathtub. For the third baby, I’m looking to birth at home. We prefer someone that can take insurance. We have anthem Blue Cross PPO. However, we would be open to paying out-of-pocket.

Planning a home birth (potentially water birth, but will do what will be comfortable). No drugs for pain management. Okay with essential oils and massage if necessary.

Plan to give birth at the hospital. Looking for a doula or midwife to be there in the hospital and also a lactation specialist as I plan to breastfeed. Not entirely sure how much everything cost but would like to stay on the cheaper side of the budget.

This is our 2nd baby and we didn't have the best experience in the hospital during our first birth in 2019. Now that I'm pregnant at 40, we're looking for more of a natural experience, with less of the trauma. We have found a doula through this site and are now looking for a midwife to assist with home birthing. We're completely new to this idea, but are very open to it. My medical insurance is through Medi-Cal, specifically Anthem Blue Cross. I've noticed that providers within your company accept it, I'm just not sure to what extent considering this is my first time looking into this option.
