Hi! My wife and I are expecting our first baby, a daughter, with an estimated due date of September 21, 2026. We’re looking for part-time postpartum support near Mountain View / Palo Alto / Stanford starting around late September or early October. We are first-time parents and would love support with newborn care, postpartum routines, and general guidance as we adjust. We’re especially interested in someone calm, experienced, reliable, and comfortable helping new parents learn. We are ideally looking for support 2–3 times per week for the first 4 weeks, with some flexibility depending on availability and fit. We are open to either daytime support or overnight support, depending on the candidate’s experience and schedule. We’d love to connect with someone who has experience with: * Newborn care and soothing * Feeding support / bottle routines * Safe sleep practices * Helping first-time parents build confidence * Light baby-related household support, such as washing bottles, baby laundry, and organizing baby items * Overnight or daytime postpartum support Ideal candidate: * Lives near or regularly serves Mountain View / Palo Alto / Stanford * Has several years of postpartum doula, newborn care, nursing, lactation, or related experience * Comfortable working in English * Authorized to work in the U.S. * Has strong recent family references * Current infant CPR / First Aid certification preferred * Doula, newborn care, lactation, nursing, or related certifications preferred * TrustLine registered or willing to complete TrustLine * Comfortable following AAP-style safe sleep practices * Calm, kind, reliable, and supportive of first-time parents We would love to schedule a 20–30 minute intro call or video meeting to learn more about your approach, availability, rates, and whether it could be a good fit. I am planning to give birth in a hospital. My goal is to have a natural birth with an epidural.
