I plan to give Birth at Queen of the Valley in West Covina. I found out my insurance, La Care Covered, should cover a Doula and forgive me but I'm a little confused who's covered under this. If anyone has experience with this, please let me know. I don't have a birth plan, I'm a first time parent and a little overwhelmed and need help planning.

I plan to give birth at kaiser baldwin park. I have doula coverage under kaiser foundation health plan insurance. I had a bad experience with an epidural and with latching and would like support in those areas. First child had lip/tongue tie and difficulty latching, I had flat nipples and difficulty pumping. I would like another epidural. My husband may be with our child during/after birth so would like extra support if that happens.
