My birth plan is still in work, but I would generally am ideally looking for a physiological/ low-intervention birth. I value an evidence-based approach and someone who is highly collaborative with hospital nursing staff, so experience at Kaiser Baldwin Park would be a big plus. During birth, I will respond better to a calm,and grounded presence but someone who will still be firm and supportive. For postpartum care, I am especially looking for newborn care support and lactation support.

First-time mom planning a hospital birth at Pomona Valley Hospital and looking for a birth/postpartum doula with a practical, evidence-based approach. I would like support during pregnancy with education, preparing for labor, helping me understand my options, and creating a birth plan/preferences document. Because of previous surgery, I anticipate I will have a c-section, but would like to deliver vaginally if possible.
