Estimated budget between $1,500-$3,500 for birth support depending on experience and package inclusions. Describe your birth plan I'm aiming for a natural, vaginal birth and want to avoid a C-section unless it becomes medically necessary. I'm open to an epidural or other pain management options to make labor as smooth and manageable as possible, but my priority is a supported vaginal delivery with strong advocacy throughout. Requirements for the provider I'm comfortable working with a doula who speaks English, though Spanish fluency is a plus. Most importantly, I need someone who will actively advocate for me at the hospital and help me navigate decisions in real time to achieve the best possible outcome. I'd prefer a certified doula with meaningful hands-on labor support experience. Details about care recipients This will be my first baby, due in July. No special needs or complications currently anticipated. Additional duties Beyond labor support, I'd love guidance and education around lactation and breastfeeding. I’m looking for a day time nanny, who can care for my daughter who is 5 weeks old. Details: – Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (18 hrs/week) – $25-35/hour DOE – Santa Monica Start date: ASAP What we’re looking for: Someone with real infant experience who knows what milestones are coming and can partner with us on sleep, feeding, and play. Bilingual English/Spanish is a nice to have— we’d love our little one to hear both. Must be fully vaccinated (Tdap, flu, MMR, COVID) and have strong recent references. While baby naps, light help around the house is part of the role — bottles, baby laundry, tidying up. No deep cleaning. Bonus: If you have availability outside these days, we’d happily use you for occasional date nights and last-minute care (paid separately). We live in Playa Del Rey and planning to have a birth in Cedars-Sinai in Beverly Hills. Our estimate budget is $1500-3000 but this will depend on the available options. I am working with a midwife as my primary care provider, and for now we are planning on a natural birth, preferably no induction (unless medically required), maximizing freedom to move during birth. I want to have an epidural as an option if I need it but I am planning to go without it for as long as possible and see how it goes. I am 25 yo, this is my first baby (a boy). Hello! I just learned of these benefits so I know I’m looking for a doula late. This will be my second birth, my first was a Csection. My OB says I’m a great candidate for a tolac. I want a vbac, possibly unmedicated. I need help with how to get birth ready. Also, someone who can advocate for me. I live in Canyon Country, but will be giving birth at Kaiser Woodland Hills.
