1. We plan to give birth at Kaiser Santa Rosa. 2. My husband and I are hoping to use the 11 covered visits by our insurance. 3. We are still in the process of weighing our options on what’s best for a birth plan and would like to consult a doula for advice. This is our first child and mom has background in early childhood education and dad is new to everything regarding baby care and their needs. We would like support and advice on new born care.
Kaiser hospital, No budget as of now, Need help with plan
I was diagnosed with high blood pressure during my first trimester, which is currently being managed with a low-dose medication. While I’m still determined to birth at home, I want to be prepared for the possibility of needing to transfer to the hospital if necessary. I would appreciate having a doula who can help facilitate communication and potentially act as a buffer between me and hospital staff if a transfer becomes necessary, ensuring my birth plan and wishes are respected. I am committed to having a natural birth with minimal to no interventions. In the event of a hospital transfer, I do not want any unnecessary interventions or vaccinations for my baby, and I would love for you to help advocate for these preferences if the need arises. I’m looking for emotional and physical support during labor, as well as help with comfort measures like breathing techniques, massage, positioning. I value a calm, reassuring presence and would love a doula who can guide both me and my partner through the process.
Hospital Covers Kaiser insurance Natural but if it doesn't work meds will do

Hello, I’m pregnant with my 4th child. My last pregnancy was very traumatic and resulted in a C-section due to lack of help from the doctors. I try to live a more holistic life style these days and after becoming aware of the pharmaceutical industry and how they operate in the US. I’m very frightened and would love to work on having a VBAC for this child. I would love to get the information on how your practice works and what all is offered and how insurance would be able to help cover some costs from getting your assistance. -Laurin Hall.
