This is my first baby. I am currently 21 weeks pregnant. I would love to have a natural at home birth with minimal intrusions. Our estimated budget is $5,000. My birth plan would be to have a less intrusive birth at home. My husband and I will be the only ones present for the birth aside from the midwives. We plan on having the baby at home. We are trying to stay under $6000. Trying to find someone around us that would fit that budget. The only part of the birth plan that we are really strict on is we don’t want to cut the cord and until it is completely white and we would like to keep our placenta.

I’ve had a few friends have bad experienced with obgyns and don’t even know where to begin finding one, hence why I want to try the midwife route.
