This will be my first birth. I don't like the idea of giving birth in a hospital. I'd like a home water birth. I'm not sure about budget or at what it starts. I want to prep my body so birth is not a horrible experience. I'd prefer someone with many years of experience, at least 5. And speaks English and Spanish. I'm 28 years old and I'd like to have a postpartum plan to include healthy eating habits and exercise.
I don’t have anything figured out yet. Someone who can educate me and help calm me
1. Birth center 2. TBA we do have Kaiser insurance 3. I want a natural birth
i need midwife for my and baby care i dont have any care taker after child birth
1 - Hospital 2- Insurance Molina 3 - have midwife or doula help me throughout pregnancy and come with me to hospital
midwife at a birth center covered by Kaiser insurance
Would like to plan a home birth with midwife and/or doula support, ideal if provider is covered by Tricare but not a deal breaker
My goal is a low intervention VBAC. Open to either home or hospital—but I am leaning towards laboring at home for as long as I can before giving birth at a hospital. I am in search of a Midwife or Monitrice (LM or CPM perhaps?) who can help me labor safely at home (provide fetal monitoring, look for signs of rupture, preform cervical exams if necessary.) Thank you very much for your time!
Home birth, cannot afford out of pocket cost. I have IEHP but am eligible for Molina.
I plan to give birth in Saint Jude Fullerton Hospital. Not yet known. I need somebody who will support me with my severe anxiety for labor and delivery. Accepts Cigna
Looking for a midwife to help with water births. I do want to do it at a hospital for extra safety, must check if Kaiser insurance covers any costs before hand. Preferably a midwife who speaks both English and Spanish with more than 2 years of experience.
Planning to try for a vba2c so looking for a vbac friendly provider. I have Tri care select insurance. Also someone with experience doing emergency c sections
I’m not sure what I need. I’m here because I no longer have medi-Cal so I’m explaining my options
I plan to give birth at home. My budget is $4,000. I would like to birth in a pool ideally with assistance with pain through guided movement and massage during contractions.
Looking for a doula to help prepare my husband and I with techniques that will prepare us for all stages of labor. Birth will be at the hospital I have bueshield and ChampVA through my husband
I’m looking for a homeboy midwife that is covered by iehp, this will be my 4th baby and I have a history of precipitous labors.
Right now I am currently looking at different options. I have 2 children now 16 and 20. I have had 4 surrogacy babies after my children and finally we are pregnant. I have only ever done hospital births but last 2 were C sections and doctors now really push for that once you've had one. I really want to do the holistic approach. So looking to see my options for this. Otherwise our hospital of birth would be Eisenhower in rancho mirage CA. No idea on pricing since not sure what something like this cost etc. We are trying to save since I am self employed and will have to take time off work which means no income coming in but same token best option and safe delivery is priority so can't put a price on that.
I plan to give birth at Eisenhower. At this point im looking to be educated on birth, the process, and building my birth plan. I would ideally want to have the midwife/doula at the hospital with me. I am unsure about the budget at this time but it would definetely need to be reasonable and I do have insurance covered under Cigna. I am an African American and hispanic woman and my biggest fear right now is to have my experiences be dismissed and having complications after birth. My requirements are that you have certification, at least 3+ years of experience and preferably a person of color but not necessary as long as you can understand the struggles/ systematic issues present and can support me with that if/when they come up.
UPDATE: Thank you all for your inquiries, I have chosen a midwife. Home birth and prenatal care. 5-7k estimated budget. Home birth with my two kids home if they want to witness their new sibling being born.
