Natural birth at home, no epidurals, needles in my hands, or inducements/other drugs to “progress” the birthing process. After having my second child naturally, I believe my body knows how to handle the process without doctors or nursing staff telling me otherwise or planting doubts in my mind about my capabilities. Not needing to wait on the availability of nursing staff in a busy hospital setting for postpartum care also sounds more appealing to me in the way I imagine a home birth to be like. Simply more peaceful all around.

Home I'm on ieho and my blood pressure is high so I have high risk pregnancy

After the baby is here, I want to do a 30 day stay in, Chinese confinement which consists of help with meal preps and dishes that help my body heal and boost my milk production. They also help with massages, body wraps, and educating the new mom about caring for a new baby. I would love to do a home birth but it’s costly, I have insurance so I’ll be going to be my regular OB appts but really would love home birth.
