I'm planning to deliver at Providence St. John's in Santa Monica, and am hoping for a VBAC as my first son was a c-section after being induced due to his growth restriction. My budget is $1,000 and I'm mostly just looking for support for delivery as I worked with a doula for my first pregnancy in creating a birth plan, going over comfort measures, etc. and I will have my mom in town for support after delivery. I am recovered from vaginismus, but my mind/body connection with tension and pain is pretty high so I plan to get an epidural, but outside of that I'm hoping for as few interventions as necessary. I'm looking for a doula to help me with the mental/emotional side of labor, to help me know how to move and try different birthing positions to help my body do what it was designed to do, and to be an advocate as I work towards a VBAC!

I plan to give birth at cedar sinai, I am having twins and looking for a birth and post doula and someone to help take care of the infant twins for the first couple of weeks, or months. My birth plan is at the hospital, and open to ideally vaginal but potentially C section because of the twins.

My husband and I will be first time parents. I do not have parents and his parents live in another country, so we don’t have much support from family close to us. I will be giving birth at Cedars-Sinai and plan on having an unmediated delivery. I do not have a budget as this is my first time inquiring about a doula.

I am planning for an unmedicated hospital birth in Los Angeles. I would prefer to have some coverage from my healthcare provider Aetna but am open based on finding the right person. I am very early on (7 weeks) but would like to establish care and a good relationship with a doula early on. I sometimes have trouble advocating for myself, and get overstimulated very easily. I want a support system that can allow me to stay in my zone during birth, with gentle reminders and redirection and understanding of my needs.
