Our first child will be born by surrogate in mid-December in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are looking for a newborn specialist for most nights the first month who can relieve us of night duty as well as educate us on taking care of the infant. Possibility to extend beyond the first month.

We are seeking an attentive and nurturing overnight caregiver to care for our 1-month-old baby in Emeryville. The typical schedule is a few nights per week from 12am to 8am. Core responsibilities include bottle feeding, diaper changes, soothing the baby back to sleep, doing baby laundry, and cleaning baby-related items (such as bottles and pump parts). During overnight shifts, the caregiver must remain awake to care for the baby while the parents rest. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience caring for newborns and can work independently in a quiet environment. Infant CPR certification is a plus. For health and safety, we require up-to-date vaccinations (including Tdap, COVID-19, MMR and flu), and the caregiver must be a non-smoker.
