I plan to give birth at Kaiser Permanente San Leandro. I am a first-time mom and would like a certified, experienced doula who can provide support during pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. I prefer someone calm, patient, supportive, and comfortable working with my Kaiser care team. I would also appreciate breastfeeding and newborn-care guidance. My doula service will be through insurance.
Since this is my first time pregnancy I need someone who can help me with the birthing and preparing mentally and physically process throughout my pregnancy. I will be giving birth in a hospital. I want to give birth without being medicated. Estimated budget is 4,000. I am 32 and would like someone older than myself.
