Hoping for an unmedicated, low-intervention birth with freedom to move, a water tub if available, and my husband as my primary support person (hoping he gets to catch the baby). Open to nitrous oxide, but want to avoid the Epidural as well as Pitocin unless medically necessary. After birth I'd like delayed cord clamping, immediate skin-to-skin, and a hands-off approach to the placenta unless intervention's needed. I'd also love postpartum support to help us through early recovery and newborn care. Budget: covered under Gold Coast Health Plan (Medi-Cal), so looking for providers who accept that coverage.
