Hospital birth. Hoping to go unmedicated. Need someone experienced with pain management and who can help my husband navigate the process. My family won't be supportive of going without an epidural and I don't know how supportive my husband could be if he sees me in a lot of pain. Delayed cord clamping wanted for longer than 60 seconds, until cord turns white. Skin to skin and breastfeeding are important. No Hep B. Surprise gender. Just looking. Unsure of a budget. Just need birth/labor doula. Not postpartum or lactation because I'm a postpsrtum nurse and lactation consultant
Dear Danielle, Happy Passover! I am writing to you as a well known doula that works with Jewish families. I am the Rabbi of Congregation B'nai Emet in Simi Valley (Reform) and the Executive Director of the Sandra Caplan Community Bet Din. Recently, I finished mentorship as a Mohel under a Professor of Urology at Cedars and a Conservative Rabbi - Mohel. I would like to invite you for coffee (after Passover) or a phone call to ask your advice on how I can best serve the needs of families in greater Los Angeles. Would you be open to speaking? Warmly, Rabbi Jason Rosner

Hello! I am looking for support during labor. This is my second pregnancy and I would love the support of an all natural birthing experience. I have the top Kaiser insurance plan that will cover. I am giving birth at Kaiser in Baldwin Park . I am Christian and would love a doula who can pray over me as we listen to worship music during my contractions.
I'm looking for a patient-centered doula who can advocate for my needs on delivery day. I want an easeful, peaceful birth where I can feel like my needs are fully heard. I haven't had the best experience with my Kaiser doctors thus far. I'll be delivering at Kaiser Sunset (I am a Kaiser patient so would need someone who takes KP insurance). Birth plan is low intervention/no rush, epidural.
I am planning for a VBAC at a hospital and need support for a successful VBAC. I also need postpartum care and honestly just extra hands around the house with a newborn and toddler and a dog. Postpartum meals, house work, laundry, tidying etc
I plan to give birth at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Burbank. My due date is July 12. I am looking for an experienced female doula to support me during labor and especially postpartum. I would appreciate help with newborn care, including feeding, bathing, soothing, sleep support, and guidance during the first weeks after birth. I speak English, Armenian, and Russian, and I would prefer a doula who speaks Armenian or Russian, though English is also fine. Experience with first-time mothers is a big plus. I have Health Net through Medi-Cal, so I am looking for a doula whose services are fully covered by my insurance, with no out-of-pocket costs if possible.
Giving birth in a hospital and would like to avoid c section
I plan to give birth at the Kaiser Baldwin Park hospital (Los Angeles county). I am looking for care that is fully covered by my Kaiser insurance. My birth plan is still in work, but I would generally am ideally looking for a physiological/ low-intervention birth. I value an evidence-based approach and someone who is highly collaborative with hospital nursing staff, so experience at Kaiser Baldwin Park would be a big plus. During birth, I will respond better to a calm, and grounded presence but someone who will still be firm and supportive. For postpartum care, I am especially looking for newborn care support and lactation support.

Hi, this is my first pregnancy just trying to get a bit of guidance. I am planning to give birth in a hospital. I am a single mother so looking for a extra help
I’d like to give birth at a birthing center but my husband is leaning towards a hospital. I mainly want it to be a natural birth and to labor how I feel most comfortable. I don’t want to be pressured or pushed by the hospital in any way (including delayed cord clamping, keeping vernix on etc). My budget is $5k max if possible but not sure how much these services are (would like to use insurance if I can). My insurance is Aetna Choice II POS.
I am 17 weeks pregnant with identical twin girls. I am looking for a doula experienced in twin births. 1. Will give birth in hospital (scheduled c-section) 2. Seeking an in-network anthem doula
