Hi, This is my first pregnancy and I am currently 10 weeks along. I am looking for guidance and support from a doula who can help both my husband and me navigate this journey. I am planning to give birth in a hospital. My goal is to have a natural birth with an epidural. At the same time, I am open to any medical recommendations necessary to ensure the health and safety of both myself and the baby. I would also love to build an ongoing relationship with a doula who can continue to support me during the postpartum period, including education around lactation and breastfeeding. We are covered by Carrot Insurance and Kaiser, so it would be wonderful if you accept either of these.

My wife and I are an LGBTQIA+ family expecting our first child. She is due 9/5/26. We are planning a hospital birth in Antioch, CA. We live in Brentwood, CA. We are looking for a certified doula to assist in birth, preferably with any of the following experience: medical/RN, labor and delivery, midwife. Alternatively, if you’ve successfully delivered a lot of babies that’d work too. We realize we’re starting late, so availability is probably a bigger priority. The birth plan includes a gradual escalation of pain management options including an epidural. My wife would prefer to use a variety of positions during labor. We are looking for a doula who accepts Kaiser Northern California insurance.

I am looking for a lactation consultant to help me prepare for breastfeeding before my baby’s arrival and to provide support after delivery. As a first-time mom, I would appreciate guidance with latching, feeding, pumping, milk supply, and any questions that come up. I do not have any specific requirements for the provider, but I would like someone who is covered by my Kaiser HMO insurance. I understand there may be copays and am comfortable with that.

Hello my name is Rayvyn. I’m expecting my first child at the end of August. My birth preference is a peaceful in home setting, all natural water birth. Allowing my body and baby the space needed to do what it is designed to do. No rushing, no force. Delayed cord cutting. No vaccines. I’m looking for someone who is grounded, respects my needs, & listens intently. Preferably someone who is in tune with themselves, the earth, and sensitive to energy. Someone who understands and has a perspective on how sacred this time is.
I'll be giving birth at Sutter Health's Memorial Medical Center in Modesto, California. I have Sutter Health Plan, HMO and a letter from my doctor saying she supports me having a doula. I'd like my doula to take my insurance coverage, and then provide a tip after. I'd really like to focus on birth prep and birth support to get ready for a smooth labor/delivery. I plan on having an unmedicated, vaginal birth and I would like to have minimal medical intervention unless necessary for the health and safety of my baby and I. I will not be birthing laying on my back, and really want to utilize movement to support birth progression. We not circumsize, and will delay the HepB shot. We will take the vitamin K shot, and will be delaying cord clamping. My husband will be a primary support person so we would love to learn techniques so he can best support me. I've listened to a hypnobirthing audio book, and really like the techniques used there.
