Looking for an experienced postpartum doula to assist and guide me in newborn care after birth. I need hands-on guidance on basic baby care techniques, including bathing, diaper changing, breastfeeding support, proper holding, burping techniques, swaddling for sleep, and baby massage. Ideally, a Vietnamese-speaking doula would be great, but English-speaking is also completely fine. We are looking for someone available starting August 19 or so, for two or three nights a week overnight Nanny support for our newborn. Perhaps one or two afternoons or evenings a week as well. Looking for someone open to light baby related housework, laundry, dishes, meal prep. We have a three year-old as well, but we are not looking for a caretaker for him. $30-$40 an hour depending on experience level. We will need assistance through December 1, 2026

I plan to give birth at Sharp Mary birch hospital. $1-3k is my estimated budget. Unfortunately, my Cigna insurance does not cover doula services but I’m interested in your out of pocket fees within my budget. For my birth plan, Epidural if needed but would like to do natural since I had back pain after my first baby 2023 using it.

I plan to give birth at a hospital. I currently have medi-cal. I have not created a birth plan but I would want to deliver with the least amount of intervention necessary. I want to be able to move freely and not be restricted and attempt to give a natural birth with no epidural. I am 25 years old and this is my first pregnancy so I just wanted to be supported and advocated for throughout my pregnancy especially as a first time mom and can provide emotional support to my partner as well. I plan to give birth at Scripps hospital in Encinitas. I wasted lots of time trying to see insurance coverage and now have about a month left before my due date. I plan to pay out of pocket and have a budget around 1500 for a labor doula. My birth plan centers around flexibility. I am aiming for natural birth and utilizing different birth positions and coping skills. I've had a some trauma with needles and medical care when I lived in Haiti and got typhoid: makes me reluctant to get epidural but open to it if my headspace is bad.
