After having my second child naturally, I believe my body knows how to handle the process without doctors or nursing staff telling me otherwise or planting doubts in my mind about my capabilities. Not needing to wait on the availability of nursing staff in a busy hospital setting for postpartum care also sounds more appealing to me in the way I imagine a home birth to be like. Simply more peaceful all around.
