I’m expecting my first baby, Wilder, around April 19, 2027, and I live in Whitewater, near Palm Springs. I’m looking for a licensed midwife who attends planned home births in my area and is comfortable supporting a water birth at home, if I remain a good candidate for one. This is an IVF pregnancy, so I’d appreciate someone who will review my medical history with me, explain their approach to prenatal care, and be clear about when they recommend a hospital transfer. I’m hoping for someone warm, experienced, and respectful of my preferences, while being straightforward about safety. I’d also like to know about availability around my due date, total fees and what’s included.

This is my first baby and I’m planning on having an at home birth or at a birthing center. I am currently 10 weeks and want to get started on my birth plan as I don’t want to be in a traditional hospital environment, and would prefer a more holistic route. I want a midwife that can help deliver my baby as I’m more interested in hypnobirthing, etc. I live in Los Angeles and also have Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO insurance.
