Hello! Im set to deliver very soon, September 18th. My insurance covers Doula services under our plan, Kaiser Permanente - Platinum 90 HMO. I am looking for birthing support and help with building a birth plan. I’m a woman of color and feeling very scared about laboring and birth. I have a very large fibroid that my OB at Kaiser-Anaheim has been monitoring closely throughout my pregnancy. It is very out of the way of the birth path & kind of “tucked away.” My Doctor isn’t worried about it interfering with the birth but I could have heavy bleeding after birth. I’m looking for doula support to make the birth as smooth & beautiful as possible. I very much want to avoid a cesarean birth. I would also like for my husband & mom to be involved & supported as well.

Hi, We are PJ and Claire. We currently live in Orange and are looking for support in our first pregnancy. We are looking for a midwife and a doula. Our budget is around 6000 for both. Right now we plan on giving birth with Dr Cap down south in encinitas but are exploring home birth options if we feel that we have the right support. We are a very holistic and homeopathic couple and want to not only have a positive birthing experience but also want to avoid things that we disagree with in the hospital (like rushed cord clamping). We are planning on moving more south in the next month to be closer to the hospital but if we decide to home birth that may change. thank you for your support!
