Hello! I plan to give birth in a hospital (Adventist Health) It’s my first pregnancy andI would like the help of a doula for pain management during labour as well as to prevent tearing. My budget is arround $1000

I plan on laboring and delivering at home if anything goes wrong I’d like to go to Bakersfield memorial, I want to go fully unmedicated I just need basic support as a first time mom.

We plan to give birth at a hospital with as little intervention as possible. We just want someone to help us walk through a natural birth. We are aiming for around $1500 and if they will take insurance, that would be ideal

I really want to do a vbac but doctors are pushing for a c section. I’m also scared about trying vbac due to previous birth. I also would like to be supported during labor to help me position myself better. I have gestational diabetes so that’s playing a big factor on my why they want to do c section. I’m new to this ob because I previously lived in Los Angeles and recently moved to Bakersfield. I just need someone to help me advocate and also if there is postpartum support that can be given. I had postpartum depression with my previous pregnancy and I’m afraid to go through it again. I do have Kaiser with medical so I’m looking for someone who accepts that.

I plan to give birth at home unless there is complications, then I will go to the hospital. I don’t know my budget but I do have insurance through Kaiser. I need more education for my birth plan.
