Hospital birth Just looking right now so not sure Pain management/epidural
I plan to give birth at the hospital (Adventist health) Its my first pregnancy so im confused about what to put on a birth plan but I do plan on doing an epidural, skin to skin, dad cuts cord..
I live in Arvin California at the terra vista apartments connected to the tejon outlet mall. I have a toddler and bay due by the end of April. I just moved here. Budget will be as low as possible… we only have one income for now.
I plan to give birth at a hospital to ensure access to medical care if needed. My estimated budget is around $[insert amount], including hospital costs, prenatal care, and postpartum needs, and I plan to use insurance if applicable to help cover expenses. My birth plan is to have a calm and supportive environment during labor, aiming for a vaginal birth with minimal interventions unless medically necessary. I am open to pain management options such as an epidural if needed and would like my support person present during delivery. After birth, I prefer immediate skin-to-skin contact with my baby and to begin breastfeeding as soon as possible.
Can I afford this? This is my first pregnancy and I have so many questions and concerns? I’m needing someone to guide me and give me suggestions. I’m so lost.
