I plan on giving birth at Kaiser (Moreno Valley location), I’m looking for someone who has worked or is knowledgeable with vaginisms, somatic responses to past trauma regarding SA and someone who is actively practicing their faith as a Christian.

This is my 4th baby, and I am wanting to do things my way, as in what feels best for me during labor. I’m not sure which hospital out of loma linda, rancho, or Kaiser riverside so I’d like help with that decision as well. I have Kaiser that covers doula services so I’m not sure how to go about pay for that or how it works but want to learn more. I’m a also a first time mom and didn’t even know people went into labor with a “plan” so any information and guidance on what would be best as a black mom for maternal healthcare and for a black infant would be appreciated.

I am currently pregnant with my first baby, due January 30th. I live in Riverside County with my husband and our dog. We’re a Christian family, and faith is an important part of my life, so I would love to work with a doula who is open to supporting me emotionally and spiritually as well as practically. What I’m Looking For: • Postpartum support: Someone who can check in on me emotionally, help me adjust to motherhood, and watch for signs of postpartum depression/anxiety. • Practical support: Light household help, meal prep, and caring for the baby so I can rest, shower, or nap. • Feeding support: Guidance with breastfeeding and/or bottle feeding. • Family support: Involving my husband in baby care, showing him how to best support me, and helping us adjust as a team. • Faith-aligned care: Encouragement, prayer (if comfortable), and an understanding of how important my Christian faith is in this season.

I plan to give birth in a Kaiser facility. I am looking for a doula who accepts insurance. I am unclear how to start my birth plan and need guidance.

We will give birth in the hospital, and we are looking for postpartum health covered by our insurance, which is Health het blue and shield HMO

1. I plan to give birth in the Kaiser Permanente hospital in Fontana, Southern California. 2. I believe that my insurance plan covers twelve doula visits, or something comparable, as well as support during the birth. 3. I am very anxious and averse to pain, so I plan to get an epidural as soon as I need one. I do not want to give birth without an epidural. I have some complicating factors, such as a possible bicornate uterus, and a marginal cord inserton (<1cm). I am not averse to a C-section if it is medically necessary.
