Our second child is due in the first week of December 2026. It is going to be a scheduled C-section. Our first baby was born healthy, and we expect the same for our second baby. We are looking for a night nanny's support to take care of the baby during the first 6 to 8 weeks, 5 to 7 nights a week. 8 hours a night. The main responsibility is to take care of the baby during the night: bringing the baby to mom for feeding or bottle feeding as needed, burping, changing diapers, soothing the baby to sleep, and light baby-related tasks like sterilizing bottles and pump parts.

I need a night doula who can take full ownership of the baby’s needs during night when I am not the first responder. I need someone to autonomously handle the feeding, the diaper changes, and the soothing.

In the immediate we are looking for part time child care 3 days/week, but come spring we will need full time care during work hours 4 days/week for the foreseeable future (likely until the baby is ready to attend school).
