Hospital MediCal/Medicaid Unmedicated birth Faith-based/christian
I plan to give birth at my hospital, Kaiser in Downey. This is my second pregnancy. My first birth was at Kaiser in Downey also (about 3 years ago), where I gave birth unmedicated. The staff knew I had done the Bradley Method course and knew my birth plan and honored it. I plan to give birth the same way, except this time I have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes but hope to still have a healthy and unmedicated birth with minimal interventions. I had a doula for my first birth and would really like the hands on support, especially at birth. I would like to keep costs at $2,500 or less if possible and hope that I can have a doula that accepts my insurance. Thank you

I plan to deliver at the hospital. My first baby was a c section. I lost my mom before the birth of my first son and there was a lot of it that made my experience not align with what I had anticipated. I want to be more prepared and open to any outcomes as well as get the support I need.

1. Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital in Los Angeles 2. Hoping to find someone covered by insurance, mine is Anthem Blue Cross California HMO (IPA Regal Medical Group). 3. I don’t have one yet, other then I’d like an epidural and understand if that doesn’t work I need coping mechanisms and/or open to the potential need for C-section.
1. Birthing at Providence St. John’s Hospital, Santa Monica 2. Doula budget approx 6K, but trying to see what insurance can cover first 3. Limited cervical checks, free movement, no epidural, VBAC, no tension on placenta, natural birth, open to nitrous oxide
1. In a hospital 2. It would depend on services 3. Hospital birth. Vaginal. Prefer not to have a C-section. Prefer not to Induce. If epidural is preventable , great. But open to it if it’s recommended. Was recommended with my last birthing experience because I didn’t know the proper tools to bare contractions.
Hello! I'm a first-time mom who plans on giving birth at Cedar's Sinai, and would like to plan for a vaginal birth. I'm new to this whole process so am not sure exactly what I'll be needing and am mostly just curious if my insurance covers any doula care. My insurance is Aetna Choice POS II, and my ID number is W2834 19281.
Kaiser HMO plan - Los Angeles - Plan to deliver at LAMC Maternity (Sunset) - I want to deliver as naturally as possible and labor as long as I can at home. - Would love an experienced doula who is positive and can be a health advocate for me and my husband during the hospital labor to ensure our wishes are heard and birth plan respected.

First baby, I want to have an unmedicated hospital birth!
for a Doula, we have about 2000-3000. We are giving birth at UCLA in Santa Monica Additionally, we are looking to book a nightmare nurse that can help for at least a week after the baby is born to not only help us get sleep, but help us be comfortable with the baby at home and teach things. I would like to talk to them before booking to make sure it is a good set up.
