need a midwife to assist in home birth and postpartum care
Hi, This is my first pregnancy and I am currently 10 weeks along. I am looking for guidance and support from a doula who can help both my husband and me navigate this journey. I am planning to give birth in a hospital. My goal is to have a natural birth with an epidural. At the same time, I am open to any medical recommendations necessary to ensure the health and safety of both myself and the baby. I would also love to build an ongoing relationship with a doula who can continue to support me during the postpartum period, including education around lactation and breastfeeding. We are covered by Carrot Insurance and Kaiser, so it would be wonderful if you accept either of these.
Home birth, hospital if necessary. Budget it whatever it takes. Natural birth plan, guided imagery, position changes, breathing techniques, pelvic floor work.
