I just found out that I am pregnant! No ultrasound or blood test yet. My husband and I were trying for a baby, so we are very excited. I would love to learn more about working with a midwife and find a potential match for me. From what I have learned so far, a midwife seems like a great choice if my pregnancy is low risk. I am 27, and don't have any major health issues - I would say I am pretty healthy and active! I am a little afraid of giving birth at home, and like the idea of a birthing center. However, I could see myself fully leaning into a holistic natural birth at home if that is possible.
