Hi! I’m pregnant and have Blue Shield Access Plus insurance. Do you accept this plan, or can you submit claims or provide a superbill for reimbursement? I’m specifically interested in postpartum support and help caring for the baby during the first week after birth.

We're first-time parents expecting identical twin girls this fall and looking for an experienced doula to support us through this unique and beautiful journey! About our pregnancy: We're expecting dichorionic diamniotic (DCDA) twins with a due date of October 3, 2026. We'll most likely be delivering at Sutter Medical Center in Downtown Sacramento in the OR, as is standard for twin birth. Our birth plan is still taking shape, but we just want to feel safe and supported every step of the way. What we're looking for: Postpartum support is our biggest priority. Twin newborns are a full-time adventure so we want someone experienced with twins and supporting parents of newborn twins! Birth support is also important to us, and we'd love someone who is comfortable in an OR setting and familiar with both vaginal twin deliveries and C-sections (planned or emergency). About us: We're an AAPI family who practices Buddhism, though we welcome doulas of all backgrounds and beliefs. We're also both in the medical field so we're no strangers to clinical settings. That said, we're still first-time parents navigating something entirely new, and we'd love a doula who can be our advocate, translate the emotional side of this experience, and bring a calm, grounding presence when things get busy. Our requirements: - Certified doula with at least 5 years of experience - Experience supporting twin pregnancies and births - Comfortable with OR/hospital births and C-sections - In-network with United Healthcare (through GEHA) — this is a must for our insurance coverage - Budget: up to $1,000 (our insurance plan maximum for doula services) - Located in or serving the Sacramento, CA area If this sounds like a great fit, we'd love to connect and learn more about you and your approach. Thank you for the incredible work you do! 🌸
Hello. I am looking for a certified Doula that would be approved/covered by my insurance plan with TriCare to assist at the time of delivery (UC Davis) and a few times after postpartum.
1. Kaiser Roseville 2. I have Medi Cal 3. All natural and as quick as possible lol This is my 4th baby, I barely have time to go to kaiser's prenatal appts, am I allowed to use my 2 prenatal appts as stretching/ massage in my 3rd trimester? A birth doula to help me advocate for a natural birth, I had 2 positive births at kaiser, at my last my 3 year old daughter wanted to see and witnessed her little sister be born. I did have my placenta encapsulated last time and thought it made a huge difference! Is that covered by medi cal? Or an extra fee? I think I want to use those other 8 appts as postnatal appts! Im still breastfeeding my 1 year old and plan to breastfeed throughout the pregnancy, then tandem feed, I'm pretty confident in that area but am constantly doing stuff for everyone else, I'd love a massage or someone to cook dinner and clean the kitchen, maybe help with the older kids bedtime routine if the baby isn't on the same schedule, or help making breakfast and packing up lunch one morning so the rest of the day feels easier, it's going to be the middle of summer! If this sounds right up your alley, send me a message!
Hello I have double Kaiser insurance. I will be delivering at Kaiser looking for someone that takes my insurance. Not sure birth plan yet I’m still early.
Postpartum care - we have Tricare
1) Hospital - teaching hospital system 2) $7,000 out of pocket 3) Epidural. I don't know what else.
Plan on giving birth to my first child at Sutter Hospital in Downtown Sacramento. I hope to have a natural birth but I am not opposed to a mild epidural if needed. I want a calm and relaxing space and to work with a doula that focuses on mind body connection and hypnotherapy techniques. I'd like to stay under $2,000 for a birthing doula.
I plan to give birth in a hospital. Are there any Christian doulas near me?

I'm looking for someone who can help support me through labor as I plan on going unmedicated for as long as possible. I'm open to getting an epidural but really want to see how far I can progress without pain medications. I plan to deliver vaginally. I'm open to any kinds of other pain relief tools. I plan to give birth at the hospital. My budget is flexible as but am hoping to go through insurance. I have Blue Shield of CA insurance.
