My 3.5 month son has acid reflux and is on Pepcid but still experiences discomfort around feedings and comes off and on the bottle a lot. The occupational therapist thinks there is a tongue and lip tie and a weak suck. I am not able to get him to latch so he is exclusively bottle fed. I’d like to get him to latch.

I would like support during pregnancy with education, preparing for labor, helping me understand my options, and creating a birth plan/preferences document. During labor, I’m looking for someone calm and supportive who can help me advocate for myself, ask questions, and help me process decisions without pressure unless medically necessary. Postpartum support is my biggest priority. I would like help with recovery, breastfeeding/pumping support, newborn guidance, emotional reassurance, and preparing to return to work as an elementary teacher. My birth plan is still in work, but I would generally am ideally looking for a physiological/ low-intervention birth. I value an evidence-based approach and someone who is highly collaborative with hospital nursing staff, so experience at Kaiser Baldwin Park would be a big plus. During birth, I will respond better to a calm,and grounded presence but someone who will still be firm and supportive.
