Give birth in hospital A low budget Don't have a birth plan
Second time mom, need a refresher and breast feeding support. Looking for an IBCLC near 90063 that accepts insurance. First appointment would be after baby arrives.
My name is Ely Anne Hornsby. My due date is 10/31/26, insurance is Tricare West and zip code is DTLA 90015. Thank you.
I just delivered my second child, and while I successfully breastfed my first child for 18 months I am having difficulties getting the second to latch. She is nearly constantly fussy when trying to breastfeed and does not stay latched for any significant period of time. I have inverted nipples and used a nipple shield with my first, although I have tried both with and without for my second.
I am looking for a birth and postpartum doula that is covered by Kaiser insurance, who is very knowledgeable about the birth process, potential complications and newborn care, who is open to attending hospitals births. I am planning to give birth at Kaiser South Bay Harbor City. I would like to labor at home with my partner and the doula for as long as possible until it’s time to go to the hospital. I am open to an epidural at the hospital but if I’m doing okay or labor is progressing quickly I am open to not getting one. I hope for an uncomplicated vaginal birth. I’d like the doula to know the difference between interventions that might be offered to me at the hospital that are not necessary and what is necessary/ will help my baby to be born healthy. I’d like a certified doula with multiple years experience, age 38+ or older. I am 38 years old, first pregnancy, have a very supportive partner, and hope to breastfeed.
Lactation consult. Latching issues. Nipple pain. Feel like something is wrong.
First baby - hoping for low interventions and unmedicated. Not sure if I am ready to commit to unmedicated though. Either way, I'd like to stay unmedicated as long as possible/as long as is safe. I know very little about labor/birth and have been afraid of it for a while. I'd like someone who is well versed in physical support, and of course mental/emotional support and birth education. I have somewhat of a distrust of doctors and want someone who knows the data on when things are necessary, and when things are not necessary. My husband is pretty squeamish and he may need some mental support too. I am a patient of the midwives at Orange Coast Womens Medical Group and I plan to give birth at HOAG Irvine. I am looking for a birth doula, a lactation consultant, and possibly a postpartum doula. I live in Fullerton, CA - looking for in person services.
Hello, my name is Courtney Flores. My son is 4 months old. I am reaching out because at birth he was in the 44th percentile for weight and at his 2 month well visit he was 36th. At his 4 month well visit he dropped down to the 5th percentile for his weight and I’m concerned he is not getting enough milk. I exclusively breast-feed so I’m not sure how much he is getting. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.
I wanted to give birth at a birthing center. I wanted to see what my insurance would cover. I wanted a midwife and doula and possible lactaction consultant. My insurance is Molina medical
Looking for an experienced Lactation Consultant near me
2 month old with reflux and now developed clicking sounds with feeding. Hoping for an in-person eval to determine if this is a latch issue, tongue tie, or just oversupply. On maternity leave so schedule is pretty wide open.
I want to be able to breast feed. My baby is slowing latching on but I need helping transition from pumping to feeding
I plan to give birht in a hospital. My estimated budget is $3100. I plan to give unmedicated vaginal birth. I require my provider to be doula certified.
4 day old with shallow latch. Milk is coming in but he isn’t able to pull it out. Having to supplement with formula. Want to also evaluate for tongue ties.
My son is almost 4 weeks. I have a great supply and his latch is excellent, he unfortunately doesn’t get full from my breasts for an unknown reason. We have done every method from keeping him awake to switching breasts etc… but my breastmilk in a bottle fills him up greatly. I need help and want to do a weighted feed to figure out the issue asap as I’m at my wits end!
