I’m looking for potential care/ help during the night for my newborn baby. I will need someone who can help temporarily and help me with holding/ burping/ soothing/ watching my baby and checking & cleaning diapers in between night time feeds so that I can get some sleep during the night. I will be giving birth at Sutter Medical Center Birth Center in midtown Sacramento. I am not sure about a budget. I do not have a birth plan, and would like a doula with all necessary qualifications. I am 28 years old and due to give birth to a baby boy with due date of 08/09/26

We would like to find providers to help with any postpartum needs for me (mom) and my family (dad and two older kids). These could include helping us overnight with feedings as well as assistance for me during the day when I'm home alone with the baby, including cleaning, cooking, laundry and other household necessities.

We're first-time parents expecting identical twin girls this fall and looking for an experienced doula to support us through this unique and beautiful journey! About our pregnancy: We're expecting dichorionic diamniotic (DCDA) twins with a due date of October 3, 2026. We'll most likely be delivering at Sutter Medical Center in Downtown Sacramento in the OR, as is standard for twin birth. Our birth plan is still taking shape, but we just want to feel safe and supported every step of the way. What we're looking for: Postpartum support is our biggest priority. Twin newborns are a full-time adventure so we want someone experienced with twins and supporting parents of newborn twins! Birth support is also important to us, and we'd love someone who is comfortable in an OR setting and familiar with both vaginal twin deliveries and C-sections (planned or emergency). About us: We're an AAPI family who practices Buddhism, though we welcome doulas of all backgrounds and beliefs. We're also both in the medical field so we're no strangers to clinical settings.
