I would like support during pregnancy with education, preparing for labor, helping me understand my options, and creating a birth plan/preferences document. During labor, I’m looking for someone calm and supportive who can help me advocate for myself, ask questions, and help me process decisions without pressure unless medically necessary. Postpartum support is my biggest priority. I would like help with recovery, breastfeeding/pumping support, newborn guidance, emotional reassurance, and preparing to return to work as an elementary teacher. I am hoping to breastfeed/pump and would value someone knowledgeable about lactation and pumping for working moms. I am open to holistic approaches as long as they are grounded in research and evidence-based care. I am not looking for an anti-medical approach and am comfortable with hospital care and interventions when medically necessary. I would prefer someone experienced with first-time moms and familiar with Pomona Valley Hospital or the surrounding area (La Verne/Claremont/Upland/Pomona).

I plan to give birth at the Kaiser Baldwin Park hospital (Los Angeles county). I am looking for care that is fully covered by my Kaiser insurance. My birth plan is still in work, but I would generally am ideally looking for a physiological/ low-intervention birth.
