I’m located in Homestead, FL, and I plan to give birth at Jackson Memorial Hospital. I’m seeking a non clinical birth doula who can provide: • Prenatal support and education • Continuous labor and delivery support at the hospital • Postpartum follow up support UnitedHealthcare has informed me that I may qualify for a community based doula program, with an estimated coverage range of $1,000–$1,200, and I am currently in that enrollment process. While I haven’t created a detailed birth plan yet, I’m looking for guidance and support as I prepare. Breastfeeding is very important to me with this being my second child, so I’m especially interested in lactation education and breastfeeding support during pregnancy and postpartum. I’d love to know if you: • Accept UnitedHealthcare Medicaid • Work with community based Medicaid doula programs • Or assist with single case agreements, if applicable Thank you so much!
