Hi there! I’m Andrea Doula, and Newborn Care Specialist with nearly two decades of experience supporting families through every stage of the perinatal journey. My background includes over 10 years in childcare and almost another decade in birth and postpartum work, where I’ve had the honor of helping families welcome their babies with peace, confidence, and support that feels both personal and practical. Whether you’re preparing for birth, navigating postpartum recovery, or finding your rhythm with a newborn, my goal is to create a calm, and empowering environment where you feel informed, respected, and cared for. From evidence-based education and emotional support to hands-on newborn care and rest planning, I meet each family right where they are. I believe birth and postpartum are sacred, transformative times that deserve compassionate guidance and genuine connection and it’s my joy to walk alongside families as they grow, helping them feel confident, supported, and never alone in the process.

I've utilized Andrea's services for birth, postpartum support, and sleep consulting and all three stages were made better because of her. She is a calm and supportive individual who can foresee your needs and act on them appropriately (a critical function in a hospital environment and through the post partum haze). She is a master of her craft and with her guidance my infant was sleeping through the night before 12 weeks. Even sleep regressions have been easier! Her overnight services literally kept me sane through the height of newborn sleep deprivation and knowing my baby was in the hands of someone so competent and compassionate made such a difference. You won't regret working with her!!

Hi! I’m a birth and postpartum doula passionate about helping families feel calm, informed and supported during one of the most transformative times in life. My approach is grounded in gentle encouragement, evidence based information and intuitive care. I believe birth isn’t just a medical event that brings life into this world but a spiritual, vulnerable and transformative time and you as a mother deserve extra support.

Recent review

Kristen was an incredible support during my pregnancy and birth. She brought such calm and reassuring energy and always seemed to know exactly what I needed in the moment. Her advice was amazing and truly helped me understand my options and achieve the birth experience I wanted. Her knowledge and encouragement gave me the confidence to trust my body and my choices. I am so grateful for her presence she made such a difference in my birthing experience. Kristen’s support went beyond me as she also gently guided my husband and showed him how to be actively involved in the process. Because of her, he felt confident and engaged, and together we were able to navigate birth as a united team. Her ability to support not just the birthing person but the partner as well sets her apart, and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a truly empowering birth experience.

I am a birth doula trained by Warm Welcome Birth Services. I am a registered MassHealth provider, which means if you are a member, my services will be covered by state insurance. Informed by my experience seeing the homebirths of my two younger siblings (and being born at home with a midwife myself), I believe that everyone giving birth deserves to feel seen, heard, and respected, no matter where they give birth. In my work, I value autonomy and informed consent. I am committed to providing trauma-informed, inclusive, and justice-oriented care for all, including people of color, queer and trans folks, disabled people, and those belonging to all types of family structures. I'm also happy to talk about how to center faith/spirituality in birthing experiences!

Hi! My name is Becca. I am here for you to help you have an empowering birth and early parenthood experience! I love supporting people, and have a deep passion for birth work! In my work as a doula, I love incorporating mindfulness and confidence building to help my clients thrive. I find that these practices help clients build trust in their bodies and in themselves, as individuals and as parents, and connects them to their inner strength. Some fun facts about me: I love dancing, watching movies, and I am an animal lover! As a child, I grew up on a small farm. My cat Boo is my child. And I even walk dogs and pet sit on the side of my doula business!

Recent review

I can’t say enough good things about Becca! From the very beginning, she was there to help me prepare both physically and emotionally. She’s not only incredibly knowledgeable but also so fun and kind, which made the whole process feel a lot less overwhelming. Becca helped me build muscle memory for key movements that would be useful during labor. But she made sure I was not overwhelmed with too much information to be able to stay in “laborland” as she calls. She guided me in identifying and addressing my fears before birth. Acknowledging those fears ahead of time gave me a sense of peace I didn’t even realize I needed. She also helped me create a value-based birth plan, ensuring it was respected by the hospital team (which was not standard care in the hospital!) During labor, Becca was absolutely incredible. She stayed with us for 24 hours straight (or maybe more? I lost track of time after a while lol), supporting not just me but my husband too by helping him to help me. Her positive energy made a huge impact. She created a calm, cozy space with her electric candles and soft voice where I felt safe and protected. She moved with me and held space. When a doctor dismissed my needs and concerns, Becca was right there to advocate for me and made sure my voice was heard. Her advice on pushing positions and paced pushing helped turn my baby, who was in a side position, allowing me to give birth vaginally without tearing!- which was one of my fears. Even after labor, when I felt completely drained and defeated, Becca was there with her positive, reassuring words. She kept reminding me of how strong I had been, especially when I stood up for myself when some of the providers weren’t as responsive as they should’ve been. It helped me to rewrite my birth story and made it a story of empowerment! Becca’s kindness, fun personality, and ability to create such a positive environment gave me the confidence to believe in myself. I truly don’t know how I would have gotten through the experience without her, and I’ll always be so grateful for the positive impact she had on me and my birth!

Hi my name is Jess. I have always known that my gift is to help others heal. Being a doula is a manifestation of that. Birth work is a direct response to the injustice and disparities experienced by BIPOC in the US. And we all have the power to change that narrative. I look forward to healing with you.

I provide support for clients of all kinds. This includes clients who wish to go unmedicated or are planning on an epidural, those with scheduled c-sections or who are preparing for a VBAC. As your birth doula, my goal is to support you (without bias or judgement) in any way you may need throughout your pregnancy, labor, and the delicate days of the 4th trimester. I’m so glad you’ve made your way here and are in search of doula support!

There was no way to know ahead of time how medically complex my birth would end up being, and having Ashley on our team was a huge part of what made such a wild, chaotic, adventurous birth still somehow a wonderful one. It's hard to adequately express how much her support, grounding, kindness, humor, steadfastness, confidence, and care meant to our entire family. I earnestly would not want to experience birth without her. If you're expecting and thinking about getting a doula - DO IT!!! And if you're a NH local and you're looking for the best one around, your search is over because Ashley's it!

Hi, I’m Kathleen Stern—a certified postpartum and birth doula, certified infant feeding specialist and an IBCLC candidate (international board certified lactation consultant), expecting to be certified in 2026. I love working with parents to offer real-time relief and practical tips and to remind them that they’re doing a great job. My goal is to build your confidence and provide relief so that you feel better when my visit ends. Whether you’re a first-time parent feeling nervous/excited or thinking “I don’t know what I don’t know,” or a seasoned parent looking for some more relief this time around, I’ve got you! Prior to working with infants and families, I earned a Masters in Teaching and had a rewarding 15-year education career— teaching students (mostly middle school English), coaching teachers, and helping others recognize their own strengths. I got into the perinatal world after I had a colicky baby in 2014 and was filled with exhaustion, self-doubt, and conflicting advice from well-meaning family and friends. I knew there must be a better way. For my second baby, I worked with a postpartum doula to provide me with the nonjudgmental, hands-on support I knew I would need. The difference between my first and second postpartum experiences prompted me to become a doula and lactation professional. My best advice for expecting families is, “Reach out for help before you think you need it. You're not supposed to be able to do this by yourself.” I live in the North Shore with my 11 and 8 year-old daughters and labradoodle. When I’m not with my family or holding babies, I love to garden, be active, and be by the water.
