I am a birth and postpartum doula located in the Metro Detroit with a background in public relations. I have over a year of experience with a vaginal birth rate over 80%. I am passionate about birth work as a result of my own experiences with 2 preventable c-sections and a vaginal birth after cesarean (attended by a doula). In addition this work is dear to my hear having witnessed the impact of the advocacy, support and assistance doulas provide especially in the lives of women of color.

My name is Chloe and I have been working with children of all ages for over 6 years. I’m a pro doula certified postpartum placenta specialist, infant care specialist, and postpartum doula. After caring for families of all kinds of backgrounds and in various situations, I’ve realized how much support is actually needed, specifically in the early Postpartums days with your newborn. My goal is to care for your family in a non-biased, evidence-based way to ease your transition into parenthood!

Chloe was the most professional, helpful, and trustworthy postpartum doula imaginable. She had a relaxed/thoughtful demeanor, was incredibly competent, and our baby loved spending time with her. She was always one step ahead of our little guy's development, was the perfect addition to our home, and we really couldn't be more grateful.

Because of my unique blend of training and experience in both counseling and doula work, I am a good choice as a doula for anyone who would appreciate the extra depths I can go to in our prenatal and postpartum visits, as well as during your birth! In addition to the transformative and emotional side of birth, I also have done extended study in spinning babies, what different labor patterns mean, and what positions help in different situations. My toolbox includes all the standard “comfort measures” most doulas use for labor as well as a lot of “outside the box” ways to cope that I have learned from my extensive reading.

Recent review

Morielle was a peaceful and incredibly helpful presence during pregnancy and birth. She was insightful, calm, and knowledgeable. She offered ideas, strategies, exercises, and knowledge that helped me immensely. Her peaceful presence helped me navigate difficulties during pregnancy, such as having a baby in the breech position and undergoing the ECV procedure. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for emotional, physical, and spiritual support during pregnancy and childbirth!

Hi, my name is Alaila. I've been working as a doula for about 1 year now. I have 8 years of experience working in childcare as an early childhood education teacher. I have 3 children of my own, 1 boy and 2 girls. I became a doula because, I myself have preterm labor so I know the struggle to be heard during such an emotionally and physically difficult time as labor. I wanted to become a voice for anyone who is experiencing this struggle, to lift up their voice in the birthing room. I am currently enrolled and taking classes at Henry Ford to become a Medical Assistant. I plan to specialize as a Radiographer so that I can be even more helpful to the mothers I serve in the community and clinic settings.

As a dedicated and supportive mother, my goal is to help you take a step back and truly take hold of each moment of your labor. I believe in empowering you to make the choices that feel right for you as your birth journey unfolds. Your birth story should be a beautiful reflection of your experience and the role you play. I live by a simple yet profound motto: “The mother deserves to be cherished and celebrated, the baby deserves to be embraced and revered, and the space around them is sacred and should be honored.” Together, let's create an atmosphere that nurtures all of this. I am a birth doula who equally specializes in all birth outcomes. I delivered my son who was incompatible with life and it opened my eyes to the need of bereavement doulas as well as birth doulas. Hold and honor your babies.

Emily is very compassionate when it comes to the language and care during childloss. Although we didnt get to experience her during a labor, she was very knowledgeable and would hire her for future birth.
