Lindsey Burns

About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona. I’ve received advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR - an evidence-based trauma treatment), and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (also known as Maternal Mental Health) and conducting counseling via the telehealth model. I believe that all beginnings, transitions, and endings have the power to transform us when we can lean into our internal well of resources and resilience. To support this courageous work with clients, I hope to co-create a safe space where humility, humor, and honesty help you knit together perspectives that allow you to step into your most authentic Self.

Are you feeling overwhelmed, lost, or lonely? Have you experienced a traumatic event or events? As humans, we are living in truly unprecedented times, and it is my hope to provide a safe place to support my clients through these situations so that you can feel empowered and heal. I will collaborate with you to identify goals and tailor services to meet your needs. My toolbox includes traditional talk therapy with music, art, skill-building, and experiential approaches. I have specific training to support your transition to parenthood (before, during, and/or after pregnancy or birth) as well as trauma processing.
