About Lucia

I have been a Lactation Consultant for over 25 years. I have a background as a pediatric RN and home-birth midwife, and have provided lactaton care both in a full-spectrum maternity unit and in my private-care home office. I have lectured at lactation conferences on many aspects of lactation and am the founder and executive Director of Baby Cafe USA, a national network of free community-based breastfeeding support sites.

Lactation Consultant services

I offer lactation support from prenatal to weaning and all stages in between. I have a digital scale in my office for pre-and post feed weights and can offer referrals for chiropracty/bodywork and tongue/lip tie evaluation and release.
