I'm a certified Gentle Sleep Coach with a Master's degree in Infant Mental Health and a B.S. in Human Biology, and a background in sleep research. Here's the important part: I specialize in working with "livewires" -- children who are alert, intense, perceptive, sensitive, persistent, and who never, ever, ever want to sleep. The usual sleep training methods just don't work the same for these kiddos. When my children were babies (a while ago), there were two choices for sleep: cry-it-out or gut-it-out. I knew that if I let them cry, it would go on for hours and they would never give up ever, ever. At the time, there were no other choices. The wear-and-tear is real. It doesn't have to be this way. I use a gradual approach that allows for a lot of support, but still nudges your livewire toward better sleep.

I specialize in working on sleep with little ones (6mos-5yrs) who are intense, alert, persistent, perceptive, sensitive. I use a gradual approach (not crying-it-out) that can be adjusted into smaller steps or achievable pieces.
